Correspondence of the Welch family. Includes letters from Pierce N. Welch to his family in New Haven, Connecticut, while he was studying in Germany, including father Harmanus M. Welch, and sisters Cora and Grace. Earlier correspondence was sent to Harmanus Welch while he was living in Bristol, Connecticut. A portion of those were sent from friends at Amherst College.
